Assistant Principal

Dear McLees Families,

I am thrilled to introduce myself and express how excited I am to serve the incredible McLees community! It is truly an honor to be part of a school where students, families, and staff work together to create a warm and vibrant learning environment.

With over a decade of experience in education, I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats that have shaped who I am as an educator and leader. I’ve taught students in grades 2 through 7, gaining a deep appreciation for the unique developmental stages of each age group. I’ve also served as the district’s Lead Gifted and Talented Teacher, where I worked to ensure that advanced learners were challenged and supported. As an Instructional Facilitator, I collaborated with teachers to design engaging lessons and improve instructional practices.

For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Principal, where I focused on building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and helping foster a school culture rooted in academic growth and personal success.

I hold multiple certifications, including Literacy Specialist, Literacy Coach, Online Teaching, and Gifted and Talented. These qualifications reflect my passion for literacy, innovation in teaching, and meeting the diverse needs of all learners.

My heart is in education, and I am deeply committed to helping every child grow, thrive, and feel valued. I believe that communication, collaboration, and community are at the heart of every great school, and I look forward to working closely with you to support our students' success.

Here’s to an exciting year ahead at McLees—we’re going to do great things together!

Respectfully yours,

AP
